"I was here recently and I can confirm that this place does nothing. The PCA's and nurses were as nice as could be, along with a therapist by the name of Donna BUT- the group therapy provided no benefit and the amount of "free time" through the day is enough to make a person go insane. The psychiatrists are nothing, I was in for 4 days and saw mine for all of about 10 minutes, in 5-minute intervals. I got to a point where I was needing medication that I would NOT regularly need at home, I couldn't eat- all over anxiety that was happening BECAUSE I was there. PCA's, therapists, nurses, etc agreed with me that I shouldn't have been there because it was doing more harm than good but even then my psychiatrist, who hadn't had a single full conversation with me, refused to discharge me. but I would also like to reiterate and give credit where it's due, the nurses and PCA's were extremely kind and caring, you could tell they had real empathy for the patients there and that was greatly appreciated."

"Was here last summer and one of the worst experiences in my life. They promised private sessions with therapists, doctor and psychiatrist this is a lie. I was there for a week and saw all 3 for a total of 30 minutes. It was in short 5 minute intervals that were initiated by me after I chased them down but they made sure to bill my insurance for hours. I never got private sessions with a therapist the only thing offered is group sessions. I didn't even know I was diagnosed as bipolar till I left and read it on my discharge papers. If all you need is stabilization and medicine this place might work but don't expect any long lasting help, Beckett Springs is a prime example of everything wrong with America's health care."

"I attended the IOP program and it was a really great experience. The staff and therapists were all very supportive. I learned some amazing skills that have greatly improved my life. I also highly recommend Nurse Practitioner Christa Bryant."

"Pros: MOST of the staff genuinely care about you and advocate for you. You get plenty of opportunities to eat. They offer group therapy through-out the day. You see a psychiatrist daily. They keep working with you until they find the right med combo that benefits your individual needs. When certain patients act out, the staff quickly resolves it. Shout out to Michelle, Heather, Sylvester, Chip, Carla...all excellent staff. There are more I'd include but I can't remember how to spell their names...sorry! Cons: Building needs a deep clean. The patient rooms were not properly cleaned the entire time I was there. The same dirt and cobwebs were there all 3 weeks of my stay. Another con, for me, is that for inpatient rehab they don't do individual therapy. I did not know this going in. I also wished they had an area for non-smokers to go outside so they could get fresh air. Also wish they had one or two evening groups because the evenings are a bit rough. Overall, I would recommend this place as it did help stabilize me and got me started on the right track. Most of the time I felt comfortable."

"Highly recommend you do not attend this facility. I received a number of surprise bills in the mail, months after I paid thousands of dollars for just 2 days of outpatient services. I was in a longer-term program, and chose not to come back after day 2 due to the issues at this facility. While I was at Beckett, they did not have enough staff to provide care for their clients. We were provided a strict schedule for therapies throughout the day, but the staff did not provide the promised services. The staff at Beckett had us wait in the lobby area for long periods before and after therapy. I only received roughly half of the in-therapy time promised - the rest I sat waiting in the lobby. While in therapy, the staff did not maintain patient confidentiality. They allowed cell phones in areas where this was not permitted, including allowing cell phone use during the middle of group therapy. Additionally, various clients were permitted to come and go from the group therapy areas, and interrupt class by talking with others; bringing in prohibited items into the therapy area; and engaging in cell phone use. Client safety was not maintained as the staff did not enforce the prohibited items list in the various secure areas of the building. Clients were admitted to group classes that were not stable enough to be a part of group. A therapist allowed this to go on a majority of the day, and began arguing and yelling at the client. This escalated into the therapist and the client in a full-blown yelling match, and while this happened, we lost a significant portion of therapy time. The client was kicked out of services, and upon finally resuming class-time, the lead therapist made several inappropriate comments to the larger group about that client such as "he's not cut out for therapy"; "he has some serious problems", etc. It's highly frustrating that this place cannot maintain basic client confidentiality and safety, and that they practice unfair and unclear billing practices, and that they are not held accountable for their actions. I have called several times to resolve this bill issues, and they do get resolved over the phone, only to receive another surprise bill in the mail again. This cycle has been happening for 9 months now."
