Phillip Henninger House - Historic Site
● OpenStanding as a resilient monument to the past, the Phillip Henninger House is Parma’s oldest surviving home and an essential piece of Northeast Ohio's rich history. Constructed in 1849 by Bavarian immigrants Philip and Sophia Henninger, this historic residence is built from robust sandstone sourced from the Henninger Quarry. The stone was also instrumental in the construction of the breakwall protecting the port of Cleveland and the locks of the Ohio and Erie Canal, playing a crucial role in the region's economic development.
