The Olive Branch School Preservation Society, located at U.S. 40 in New Carlisle, Ohio, was founded in 2007 by a group of concerned school and community members. The society is dedicated to preserving the old Olive Branch School and its rich history. This historic school, built in 1908 and reconstructed in 1913 after a fire, is a fine example of a rural turn-of-the-century high school. Designed by architect Charles Insco Williams, the building served as a schoolhouse until the 1970s and still maintains its 1914 appearance.
