Wooster Memorial Park, formerly known as Spangler, is a picturesque park and tourist attraction located at 5197 Silver Road in Wooster, Ohio, United States. With 11.6 miles of winding foot trails, including 1 mile of ADA-compliant trails, this park is famous for its stunning trees, steep ravines, rich spring flora, and scenic Rathburn Run (please note that the Run may not be crossable during periods of high water). The park is a natural treasure located a few miles west of Wooster, off U.S. 250, at the intersection of Jefferson and Silver Roads. The Friends of Wooster Memorial Park is a volunteer community group dedicated to preserving and promoting the enjoyment of this local gem. Established in 2000, the Friends became an Ohio non-profit corporation in 2002 with the purpose of advocating for the park and working with the city to enhance its natural features.
