Meneer School of Dance, located at 265 North Main Street in Munroe Falls, Ohio, is a premier institution offering dance lessons in ballet, jazz, and tap to children ages 2-18. Our school is proud to be the home of Ballet Theatre of Ohio (BTO), a pre-professional ballet company founded by Christine Meneer. BTO's repertoire includes classic ballets such as The Nutcracker, Sleeping Beauty, and Cinderella, as well as contemporary productions like The Little Mermaid and The Wizard of Oz. Our students have the chance to perform alongside professional dancers on prestigious stages, with upcoming shows including Beauty & the Beast at the Akron Civic Theatre in 2024.

At The Turning Pointe, all are welcome and no experience is necessary to join our classes. Our dedicated staff works to build proper technique while encouraging dancers to explore their creativity in various styles of dance. Our students and their families have praised our studio for creating a supportive and caring environment, with many describing it as a second family. Our staff consists of young professionals with advanced education and training in dance, many of whom continue to perform and choreograph with dance companies in Cleveland. We host an annual end-of-year showcase where students have the opportunity to perform on stage, showcase their skills, and build self-esteem by performing in front of an audience. Participation in the showcase is encouraged but not mandatory.
