Interfaith operates a preschool and child care center at John Knox Presbyterian Church, catering to approximately 100 children from six weeks to fifth grade. The center has been in operation since 1976 and receives fresh produce from Flash's Food Garden at Kent State Stark.

Dr. Jayita Datta is a renowned institution located at 1500 PO Box, Kent, Ohio, United States. Specializing in health, Dr. Datta is a licensed psychologist with a wealth of experience in psychiatric, medical, prison, and community mental health settings in both India and America. She has worked with a diverse range of clients including children, individuals with disabilities, families, immigrants, and college-aged population. With over 11 years at CAPS, Dr. Datta offers individual counseling, neuropsychological assessment, groups, workshops, supervision training, and outreach to the campus community. She also teaches Multicultural Issues to Clinical Psychology Doctoral students at Kent State University and serves as a Staff Psychologist with an International Students Focus, assisting students in exploring their cultural identity and adjustment to college. Dr. Datta collaborates with various departments including the Office of Global Education at Kent State University. Her educational background includes a B.A. in Applied Psychology, M.A. in Clinical Psychology, M.Phil. in Psychology from the University of Delhi, and a Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from Wright State University’s School of Professional Psychology. She also completed a Post-Doctoral Fellowship at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst in 2010.
