Haver Ridge Metro Park, located at 8335 Bellefontaine Road in Harrod, Ohio, is a unique park with rolling hills formed by glaciers during the last ice age. Purchased and developed through a Clean Ohio Greenspace Conservation Fund grant, this park has a rich history dating back to 1876 when it was maintained as a working farm by the Metzger/Lowry family. In 2019, the Park District acquired the property and named it in honor of long-time Park Director, Kevin Haver, who dedicated forty-two years of his life to public service in Allen County.
