Milestones Learning Center, located at 47 Lexington Boulevard in Delaware, Ohio, is a nurturing and educational institution that focuses on the individual needs of each child. With a play-based curriculum that includes music, art, motor skills, and language activities, we strive to promote social, emotional, physical, and cognitive growth in children aged 6 weeks to five and a half years. Our infant care program provides a loving and secure environment for the youngest learners, while our toddler and preschool programs offer guidance and encouragement for their developmental milestones. Our center operates year-round from 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM, Monday through Friday, and is closed on eight holidays per year. Kevin Triemstra, PhD, is a pediatric psychologist located at 300 Locust Street in Akron, Ohio. Dr. Triemstra has been practicing at Akron Children’s since 2014, bringing a wealth of experience and expertise to his patients. He obtained his doctorate degree from Central Michigan University and completed specialized training in pediatric psychology at Nemours/Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children in Delaware. Dr. Triemstra has a particular focus on health psychology, mental health, chronic illness, diabetes, endocrinology, cystic fibrosis, medical adherence, and evidence-based psychotherapy. As a member of the American Psychological Association and the Society of Pediatric Psychology, Dr. Triemstra is dedicated to providing high-quality care to his patients. He also serves as a clinical assistant professor of pediatrics at Northeast Ohio Medical University.
