The institution is dedicated to preserving the ecosystem and providing an outstanding natural setting for visitors to explore. Currently, the gallery museum is closed for renovation, but the ancient sculpture collection can still be viewed at the Pyramid House, which has extended hours from 12PM to 5PM daily.

This extension is part of the larger Ohio to Erie Trail, linking the Ohio River to Lake Erie.
