Dr. Saleh has been practicing since 1977 and joined Akron Children’s in 2019. He received his medical degree from Ain Shams University in Cairo, Egypt and his doctoral degree in physiology from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. Dr. Saleh completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Pontiac General Hospital in Pontiac, Michigan and a maternal-fetal medicine fellowship at Wayne State University/Hutzel Hospital. He is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Saleh is also a member of the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine and the Society of Maternal-Fetal Medicine. He has contributed to numerous professional publications and presentations and has received awards for his work in academia, including the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists National Faculty Award. Additionally, Dr. Saleh serves as a clinical professor of obstetrics and gynecology at Ohio University and Northeast Ohio Medical University.
