Museum of American Porcelain Art
The Museum of American Porcelain Art (MAPA) is a unique institution located at 4645 Mayfield Road in South Euclid, Ohio. It is the only museum of its kind, dedicated to preserving and sharing the exquisite porcelain art produced by renowned studios such as Edward Marshall Boehm, Boleslaw Cybis, Laszlo Ispanky, Burgues, and Bronn Fine China, Ltd. These studios were prominent in the mid-20th century and closed their doors by the early 2000s. Housed in the historic William E. Telling Mansion, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, MAPA offers a glimpse into the art and architecture of these iconic porcelain studios. The mansion, formerly the South Euclid-Lyndhurst branch of the Cuyahoga County Public Library system, is also designated as an Ohio Landmark and a South Euclid Landmark.
