Owens Community College Library | Toledo-area Campus
The Owens Community College Library at the Toledo-area Campus is a welcoming and family-friendly institution located at 30335 Oregon Road, Perrysburg, Ohio, United States. As both a library and university, we offer a wide range of resources and services to support students and the community. Our Owens Reads for Kids program allows individuals to record and upload readings of children's picture books from the comfort of their own home. If you encounter any technical difficulties, our troubleshooting guide can help resolve common issues. Our hours of operation are Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. We are closed on Sundays. The Toledo-area Campus Library is located in College Hall 170, and the Findlay-area Campus Library is located in Education Center 176. Visit us for a peaceful and productive study environment.
W. W. Knight Nature Preserve
Located at 29530 White Road in Perrysburg, Ohio, the W.W. Knight Nature Preserve is a 44-acre park donated by the family of William Windus Knight. This beautiful preserve offers hiking trails, boardwalks, and various natural areas such as wetlands, swamp woods, and native prairies. Visitors can enjoy fishing in the pond and birdwatching at the Lookout on Nature Area (LOONA) in the Nature Center. The Nature Center also features educational opportunities, a Nature Playscape, pollinator and sensory gardens, and the Hankison Great Room event space. The preserve hosts Paddle the Pond, a free summer program that teaches paddle sport safety with all equipment provided. Reservations for events at the Nature Center must be made in advance, with payment required at the time of booking.
