This 145-acre park is a popular tourist attraction, offering visitors a chance to explore rivers, waterfalls, and hemlock forests just minutes away from downtown Elyria. Managed by Lorain County Metro Parks since 2014, Cascade Park boasts a diverse trail system that provides beautiful views of the Black River. The park features over 3.75 miles of trails, including asphalt paths that overlook the river, connecting the park's two playgrounds. Visitors can also explore natural trails among the ledges, complete with wooden bridges and rocks to climb.
