"Our first time here and we were so impressed with the food. The hubby loved the French dip. The salmon dish comes with a corn sauce, mashed potatoes, shoe string potatoes and a compote on top. The salmon itself was perfect. It was exquisitely crunchy on the outside and tender on the inside. The corn sauce was nice enough. The potatoes fine. The combination of the shoe string potatoes, compote and salmon was great together. I am not convinced the corn sauce compliments it. That’s what my palate says anyways. I was disappointed that there wasn’t a vegetable included in the meal. Thankfully you can add on the roasted veggies which were delicious. But they do include potatoes. On the website it says that they recommend making a reservation. I made one online. We got there 15-20min early and they seated us right away. We were waited on right away. It did take a while for our food to come. The restaurant itself was chilly. There were a number of patrons, including myself, who wore their jackets. The lighting in the women’s bathroom was what I would call “mood lighting”. I am at a complete loss as to why it should be darker in the bathroom. Not only can you not see how clean it is, but how will employees know they’ve cleaned it well? And there was a mysterious bottle on the vanity that we weren’t sure was soap or lotion. This is now on our list of restaurants to go to when we are in Fargo."

"This was a wonderful experience. Food was great, well seasoned (well what we got). The service was good overall good experience the wait time to get your meal was long but I most definitely will be going back in the future."

"Stop here whenever I'm in town for hunting. Great rustic feel, and wood fired food. The rustic vegetables were great, except the fingerling potatoes weren't cooked through. The buffalo walleye is a must try, and the burger was delicious!"

"We made last minute reservation on Sunday Easter morning at PC. We sat inside the bar area that has lots of windows so nice sunroom dining. The service very prompt and our server did a great job. There weren't that many other diners there and it was definitely not crowded. For appetizers we ordered goat cheese balls served with a fruit and greens salad. I loved them and the fried goat cheese went nicely with the salad. We had carnivore entrees. I had beef short ribs that were super tender and had mashed and veggies with it. Tasted like a Sunday pot roast. My friend had NY strip with mashed and asparagus. He said he liked the asparagus a lot. The vegetables cooked well and the portion sizes right. The food was good but we didn't feel overly stuffed. We had a banana ice cream cake for dessert. One dollar from the dessert went to a local charity so that was nice. Overall a very tasty and relaxing Easter dinner. I would go here again for a special day dining out."
