Backcountry Campsite #90
● OpenBackcountry Campsite #90 is located in Robbinsville, North Carolina, United States. This campground, lodging, and park offers a unique opportunity for backcountry camping in the wilderness area of Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Permitted for hikers, horseback riders, and boaters, this institution has nearly 100 designated campsites and 15 shelters available. Reservations and permits are required to prevent overcrowding, and can be obtained at the Backcountry Office at the Sugarlands Visitor Center or online up to 30 days in advance. Each campsite can accommodate anywhere from six to twelve people and features a large cleared area, a fire ring, and a food storage cable system to keep bears away.
