"We stayed in the 2 bedroom house on King Street. You cannot find a better location to Boone and/or App State! Everything from groceries to restaurants and campus are all right outside the door. Pretty little spot and a great old house with fabulous charm. It was clean and and more than spacious! The only thing to be aware of is that you will hear the street noise at night if you aren't a heavy sleeper.. nothing that the owners can do about that (aside from adding some heavy curtains you can close and maybe a couple of sound machines to drown out the cars on the street?) and it is to be expected given the central location in a busy area. The care they take with their guests is wonderful... even sending one of their team members to the house to shovel/salt the driveway early one morning after a very icy night! Thank you!!!"

"We really enjoyed the two nights we spent here. Extremely quiet. Not even a bug can be heard, super peaceful. The only negative point was the fact that the bed, doors and the heater are very noisy, besides that, we enjoyed our time here. There are plenty of antique decorations. We brought our dogs, and they had a blast with all that space to run and stuff to sniff. We did have a problem with the shower hot water, but we reached out to the host and helped us out with that. Bottom line, we enjoyed the place, and the price paid was reasonable."

"This was our 2nd visit in the last year to this wonderful little downtown house in Boone. The place is very nice, quaint and quirky, like us. Lots of comfortable spots to park yourself and relax or go get lots of steps in because it's so walkable to everything! App State and the main downtown area with it's restaurants, bars, retail shops and coffee spots are minutes away. Denise is a great host and makes check-in a breeze! She had the house perfectly prepared and clean on our visits. Highly recommend!"
