CareNet Counseling Northwest Region, located at 204 Jefferson Street in North Wilkesboro, North Carolina, is a health institution celebrating its 40th year in 2023. From its beginnings as a pastoral care and counseling center with a single part-time employee in 1983, it has grown to operate out of its principal location in North Wilkesboro and 12 total locations in Wilkes County. With 8.5 full-time equivalent therapists and three clinical residents, the region is dedicated to providing vital mental health services to the community. Under the leadership of Robert Willis since 2016, the region has expanded its presence in the community by integrating into schools, primary care clinics, and a church.
