Mildred the Bear Wildlife Habitats is a zoo located at 2050 Blowing Rock Highway in Linville, North Carolina, United States. Visitors can observe cougars, black bears, bald eagles, river otters, and elk in their natural habitats. The environmental habitats provide a unique opportunity to see these animals up close as they would appear in the wild. The institution is adjacent to the Wilson Center for Nature Discovery. Visitors can adopt an animal through the Grandfather Mountain Stewardship Foundation to support the care of the animals.
