The Yancey County Board of Education is a governing body composed of five members dedicated to ensuring the success of the students in Yancey County, North Carolina. Regular meetings are held on the third Monday of each month at the Yancey County Schools Central Office. Open Work Sessions begin at 5:30 p.m. followed by Regular Meetings at 6:00 p.m. The board values community input and offers opportunities for public input at meetings. Special meetings are held as needed.
