Extended Stay America Select Suites - Raleigh - RTP - 4610 Miami Blvd.

"My wife and I stayed here briefly for two weeks for work, and it was okay. I've stayed in several Extended Stays before for work, and this location wasn't the best or the worst. Each one has its own circumstances and problems. Here, the check-in was fairly smooth even after arrival after office hours. The front desk staff was friendly. There are no snacks/coffee offered here at the front like some of the other Ex. Stays, which isn't a problem. The location south of Durham was fine. There was no room cleaning the two weeks we were there, which is understandable. Other locations will clean weekly, change out sheets/towels, which is nice if you get that with your stay. The laundry system was fine with no problems using the CSC App. Our room was okay initially as far as being clean when we arrived. The bed was comfy. The floors weren't the cleanest. The shower was completely clogged and would hardly drain, which was gross. The kitchen was basic with no kitchenware or utensils. The layout of the room was okay. The biggest complaint is how loud people are when they're yelling at each other in the hallways next door, or their children are screaming, or rough-housing and banging on stuff at 3:30am. It sounded like a zoo all around us, most times of the day. People constantly prop the lower doors open with rocks and leave them, basically open all day and night (despite the signage) and let all the heat out of the stair-way areas. I was literally kicking rocks out from the side door almost every time I would enter or exit, sometimes within a few minutes of walking outside or in. There's no telling who has access to the building because the doors stay propped open. Sometimes, it appears that families of five to eight people are living in one room, several of them being younger. The entire neighborhood of children would be out playing in the parking lot at times, rollerblading, etc. which doesn't always seem safe. Others would be in the pool area smoking Marijuana. There should probably be better crowd control here to better keep the peace and safety of the guests who are visiting."

"Would not recommend this company at any location at all!!! Had a confirmation and everything. Was told if I was going to be a late arrival to call before 7:30 pm to let them know my ETA. . Called at 4:30 pm. Spoke with a lady at the front desk and informed her I would arrive between 1:00 am and 3:00 am. She said I already had a room assigned to me and just call from the lobby phone and they would have the night attendant come down and give me my room keys. Arrived at 2:45 am. Called from the front phone and night attendant wouldn’t answer Ben come down. He did not even ask my name or confirmation number. Just said since it was after midnight I would have to wait until 9am to get checked in. Called every number I could find for the company and everyone I spoke with could not help at all. All had the same response to sleep in the parking lot and wait until 9am. Absolutely unacceptable after driving 22 hours to get here and paying $900 for a 2 week stay. This company as a whole has no customer service skills and does not care about their customers! Anyone considering to stay at any of these locations should definitely reconsider. You would probably be better taken care of at a local shelter."

"Bed comfy Check in was fine Smells like pot and cigarettes everywhere Kitchenette in room has nothing in it to allow you to cook, no plates, utensils, cups, pots, no nothing. Room clearly old and needs updated, with chipped paint/tile, broken hook on bathroom door, etc. No shampoo or conditioner. Room was never cleaned while I was here. There are plenty of options in this area. Pick something nicer."

"Check-in process was smooth. Didn't have to pay a deposit which was a nice surprise. Room has a very strong cigarette odor. Opened window, turned on ventilation fan and A/C fan which slightly helped. Drifted off to sleep after a rough day. Was woken up about 1.5 hours later to the fire alarm going off. Had to evacuate. Came back to my room and realized I was hungry. Grabbed one of my room keys and went to the vending machine, but had to go back to my room. The room key I grabbed wasn't activated so I was locked out of the vending machine room and my hotel room. Had to go back downstairs and staff was away from the reception desk. Hotel room didn't have a coffee maker or coffee. Only travel size bottle of body wash in the bathroom. No conditioner or body lotion. Staff was friendly"
