"We went to Peppers for the first time tonight. Our waiter, Caleb was great!! He was polite, friendly, and brought us everything we asked for quickly. My husband had a burger, he absolutely loved it! He got the curly fries with it and they were perfectly crispy and delicious. I got the turkey croissant sandwich with fried mushrooms, and it was one of the best I’ve ever had! I think we found a new favorite in Boone!"

"Pepper's is a Boone institution for good food and great atmosphere. Recommendations for their awesome wings, French onion soup, Ruben and shrimp basket. Definitely mud pie and carrot cake for dessert. I love that this is independently owned. They know what they're doing. Much more relaxed than anything on King St. Service is fantastic. Many thanks to the fine folk who do what they do best. 100% recommend."

"I went specifically for the French Onion soup. A hard to find option. What I really loved is that the soup was served with a small pair of scissors, which was the perfect tool! I had the okra fries as well. Not as good as I expected but tasty. Atmosphere is good and one novel twist at my table anyway... Local art for sale. The staff were great and the only issue I had was the food prep time. I will go back for sure."

"Great experience for me. I love how they serve the French Onion soup with little scissors. Brilliant idea! And their take on it with housemade croutons and mozzarella was delicious! Their spinach salad with Goat cheese and pecans and strawberries was super tasty (if you get salmon be sure to specifically ask for your preferred cooking temp). I could only eat 1/2 the salad, so it'd be a great choice to share with someone. Oh, and if you're a fan of carrot cake (sorry, forgot to get a pic of that), you won't be disappointed. The $3 cupcake (rather than a slice) was more than enough for a sweet treat later on in the day. The couple sitting across from me ordered onion rings and they looked amazing - the big crunchy, Vidalia type ones. Service and hostess team were super friendly as well."
