The Giving Tree is a non-profit thrift and gift shop located at 839 South Main Street in Wake Forest, North Carolina. With a second location in Youngsville, NC, our mission is to support the educational, enrichment, and extra-curricular programs of 21 K-12 schools in the area. Through the sale of donated home goods items, including furniture, decor, collectibles, artwork, and children's items, we generate profits that are donated back to the schools. In addition to our donated merchandise, we also offer a selection of new items such as jewelry, scarves, soaps, and lotions. With over $200,000 donated back to our schools, we invite you to visit us at both of our locations to support this important cause.

Located on Carroll Weathers Drive in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, the Lam Museum of Anthropology is a must-visit for those interested in global cultures. As North Carolina's only museum dedicated to the study of humanity, visitors can explore ancient archaeological sites and learn about the celebrations and struggles of today's world. The museum showcases everyday objects, ceremonial artifacts, and visual arts from around the world. Visitors can also enjoy the Artifact of the Month and learn about different cultures in depth. The museum is open to the public from Tuesday to Saturday, 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with special arrangements available for groups and events. Admission is free, although donations are gratefully accepted.
