Frank Liske Park, located at 4001 Stough Road in Concord, North Carolina, is a stunning 238-acre park that was once a working farm for the Stonewall Jackson Training School. Named in honor of Frank Liske, who played a key role in acquiring the land for lease from the state, the park offers a range of attractions and amenities for visitors to enjoy. Visitors can explore relics of the former farm, such as a refurbished dairy barn and silo, which are popular spots for gatherings. The park features four rental areas, including an enclosed upper level in the barn that is heated and air-conditioned. Other amenities include a 10-acre lake for fishing and paddle boating, picnic shelters, volleyball courts, playgrounds, horseshoe pits, and six lighted tennis courts. Additionally, there is an 11-field soccer complex, a four-field softball complex, walking and fitness trails, a nature trail, and an 18-hole miniature golf course (currently under construction).
