"I had a virtual appointment scheduled with this office. No one showed up to my appointment at the scheduled time. This was very frustrating and I was resigned to do my own taxes and it’s nearing the deadline. 45 minutes after my appointment time while starting my taxes myself, I received a call apologizing that the system shouldn’t have let me schedule this meeting that had been booked for a week. I went through the questions with the tax specialist and asked for an estimate. I agreed to the price. I closed my computer knowing my taxes would be done on time. I get a call 2 hours later (9:30pm) stating that they miscalculated and that the price is actually DOUBLE (or potentially more) the estimate I was given originally. Overall just a very frustrating process especially since I could already have my taxes done in those two hours."

"Decided to double check Turbo Tax bc my refund seemed insanely low. H&R literally got me over $2000 more in refunds!!! Now I'm wondering how much money I've lost over the years by not using them. Will be using them exclusively from now on!"

"I made an appointment online on 3/13 around 3pm (well before close of business) to get my taxes done in person on 3/16. I received a confirmation on the website, as well as a text confirming my upcoming appointment for the falls of neuse location. On 3/14 I received a call from this location from a woman saying that I no longer could be seen at the requested date and the next appointment wasn’t until April. This is beyond ridiculous and I am extremely disappointed. H&R Block is supposed to be better than this."

"DO NOT GO HERE. If I could give zero stars, I would! I went in on April 3rd for my appointment and sat there for two hours while my “tax professional” messed up my return. I recognized something was off and they had to get the head of the office to redo the whole thing again to find that he input my details wrong and was about to cost me money on my return. Not to mention that I could barely hear him or that she kept reminding me that he was new. No disrespect but I don’t want to hear that the person handling my taxes is so new that they’re incompetent. Making matters even worse, it’s the day before taxes are due and I come to find out that they never even submitted my tax return!!!!!!!!! I signed in online to see that my tax return wasn’t filed and that IRS had no record of it. I had to call customer support, bc their office is closed on Easter to find out that even though they got my checking info and I signed off on everything I needed to, I need to do it ALL again bc nothing was submitted. Now I will likely get penalized financially for not submitting in time due to no fault of my own and I have to drive a half hour to a new office and give them MORE of my time! I’m already working to get a full refund since I paid $240 (!!!!!!) for wasted time and headaches. NEVER AGAIN."
