It is part of the Outdoor Education Center (OEC), a 67-acre Campus Recreation facility that offers outdoor programming and open recreation opportunities for the UNC community. The OEC features a premier 18-hole disc golf course, sand volleyball courts, tennis courts, a bouldering wall, and a high and low elements challenge course. Additionally, the OEC hosts the Get Real & Heel breast cancer recovery program. The course is open from dawn to dusk and parking is available at the UNC General Administration lot.
