"Enjoy taking the dog for an early morning walk, usually few people. There's a terrific new (2023) play area, some pickleball and tennis courts, disc golf course, waking/bike trails that connect to Oklawaha Greenway, covered picnic areas,.. just go explore. There's lots there."
"Update- there's a new playground open now and it's fantastic! I already loved coming here, but now it's even better. The little playground is still around but now there's a larger one great for kids big and small. Also, the disc golf course is not stroller friendly. Some holes are, but there are a lot that are in the woods and even a jogging stroller is tough. Would recommend using a carrier if you're planning on discing with a young kiddo. Nice disc golf course, tennis courts, and massive fields right by the Oklahawa Greenway! Small playground over by the bathrooms."
"My go-to Park for dog walking. I love this family-friendly Park that is large enough to usually find an out-of-the-way spot from others to spend outdoor time with my dog. I appreciate relaxing, looking at nature and also the flowers at the Cooperative Extension."
"Jackson Park has an AMAZING NEW handicap / wheelchair accessible playground and wheelchair swing!! This place is revolutionary for the area and brings a beautiful attraction to the area! Killer swings, slides, merry go rounds that have a seat and is flush with the ground for special needs. This place made my heart melt :):)"
