Welcome to Mint Hill Kung Fu School, now known as Thundering Wave Martial Arts! Located at 5706 Wyalong Drive in Matthews, North Carolina, our school offers traditional Southern Chinese martial arts including Lai Tung Pai, Tai Chi Chuan, and Wing Chun. Our instructors are dedicated to providing personalized instruction and ensuring that every student learns and progresses in their practice. We are proud members of the World Kuoshu Federation and the Hong Kong Chinese Martial Arts Lion and Dragon Dancing Association, with connections to famous martial artists such as Wong Fei Hong and Yip Man. Our focus is on the enrichment of the martial arts, and we frequently travel to study and train with our Grandmaster in Hong Kong.

Mint Hill Arts is a distinguished non-profit community arts center located at 11205 Lawyers Road in Mint Hill, North Carolina. Our establishment includes an art gallery, gift shop, and classroom space, all designed to cater to local visual artists, art enthusiasts, and the wider public. While membership is not mandatory, joining our community offers exclusive benefits such as reduced entry fees for exhibits and opportunities to showcase artwork in special exhibits. We strive to create an inclusive and nurturing environment for all to engage with the enriching world of art. Currently, we are hosting the 15th Annual Student Art Show, open to all high school level students. Additionally, we are excited to present a special event featuring Amanita Chapman, owner of Ami Cassi Millinery & Accessories, showcasing her talent in making creative hats on April 13th. Our gallery also features the winners of the Romie and Judy Mitzell Photography Show, as well as an exhibit by local artist Natalia Leigh at the Mint Hill Town Hall.

Spotlight Performing Arts Academy is a leading institution in Mint Hill, North Carolina, offering a wide range of music and acting lessons.
