Douglas Thompson, MD is a board-certified Hematology and Oncology specialist located at 50 Hospital Drive in Hendersonville, North Carolina. As the Medical Director for Hematology and Oncology at AdventHealth Hendersonville, Dr. Thompson is dedicated to providing compassionate and patient-centered care. He leads the Cancer Services program at four locations in Western North Carolina and is currently accepting new patients at AdventHealth Hematology Oncology Infusion Services Hendersonville. Dr. Thompson received his medical education from Wake Forest University and the Medical College of Georgia, and completed his residency at Emory University and Fellowship at Brody School of Medicine East Carolina University.
