"My children have attended hickory Montessori since they were infants. I have always felt that they are well cared for there. My 4 year old is reading already and enjoys learning. My 21month old is learning colors and also knows some sign language which he uses them to let us know his needs.. Both my children have excelled at hickory Montessori. They both love coming to school everyday. They are excited to see their teachers. Both of them love the director, Menaka land. She is sweet and wonderful to the children!"

"My two daughters have only attended this school for a few months, but their growth in that short time has surpassed any expectations. In regards to the poor reviews given, you'll find that the children that actually attend this school are very well taken care of and unanswered phone calls could be due to the teachers being very active and hands on with the kids. The teachers here are excellent and Ms. Menikas approach will prepare any preschooler for kindergarten. Highly recommend!!"

"My daughter has attended HMS since she was 6 months old and she will be leaving in a few weeks to start kindergarten. We have had a wonderful experience over the past 5 years. My daughter is well prepared to start school because of HMS and is reading and already performing simple math. She had learned so much and the teachers are positive and compassionate with the children. In addition, the owner is active on-site and provides good staff oversight. I never worried that something untoward was happening with my child because of the supervisory presence I observed. If I ever have another child, I hope to place that child at HMS for daycare."

"My eldest son began here in 2007 and once he graduated, my youngest began. For the last 5 years, we have shared in the experience of this great school. I do believe in their trainings. It is impressive when a 4-year old picks out a book from the class library and at reading time reads it to classmates and teachers. Cleanliness and good manners are also very evident. I only have positive things to say about this school and their caring team of educators."

"Our 4 year old daughter has been attending Hickory Montessori School for 2 years now and we absolutely love it. She has learned so much in her time there. It's so much more than a day care program for your child, it's an interactive learning environment. I am continually amazed at the level of academic and social learning she has amassed from their program. Our daughter loves going there and is excited every Monday when she gets to go back and see her friends and teachers. I can't imagine a better place to have my children other than at home of course, but my wife and I both work full time. Our experience has been extremely positive and we highly recommend it. We're so glad they have recently added an infant room as we are planning to have our son start there this fall."
