Robbie’s local knowledge of the Mournes is excellent & great to have him as a guide especially when you don’t know the area and have poor navigation skills. Robbie shared lots of tips and practical advice on safety in the mountains. A fun day out and would definitely recommend Mourne Mountain Adventures.”

“We stayed here for 2 nights, enjoyed an amazing breakfast and evening meal too. Food was so good and plenty of it. I had American breakfast and hubby had large breakfast. Both lovely. Parking easy, location fab and perfect in every way. They made the first leg of our honeymoon very special and would recommend for reasonably priced accommodation and food. “This castle is apart of the game of thrones tour you can do at castle ward. The castle is locked up however you can go directly up to it while wondering around. I will say doing this tour and going to the Cuan afterwards was the best experience. If you are a game of thrones fan this is the place for you. We were lucky enough to get to meet the dogs from the film and a few people who played as extras. So much to see here. Make sure you have your hiking shoes packed and ready to go!”

“Footfalls Walking (Philip) arranged a perfect one-day trek for my family and me in the Mourne Mountains - about an hour south of Belfast. We arrived in Belfast on a cruise ship at 830am. Philip arranged to have us transported to the trailhead and we began hiking by 10am. It was a 7 mile hike through spectacular mountain scenery. We stopped for lunch in a saddle between the two highest peaks and then we descended from the mountains with beautiful views of the ocean and the town of Newcastle below. We finished with just enough time for a pint of Guinness before being transported back to our ship :-) Our guide, Pauline, was wonderful and had extensive knowledge about the Mourne Mountains and surrounding areas. It was the perfect day! Highly recommended!”

“From climbing down the ladder to board a very clean boat things just got better. The crew were very welcoming and followed all Covid measures. Very clear safety instructions given before setting out. We went for a short family run down the coast with a good informative commentary on the features as we passed. We were lucky to be visited by porpoises on our trip much to the children's delight. The captain took a number of photographs of our trip which he downloaded to one of our phones when we got back into the harbour. All in all a super afternoon out and I can happily recommend a trip with Mourne Sea Tours.”
