Jennifer Gutiérrez is more than just a council member; she is a dedicated organizer, activist, and ally to the families and individuals she represents. With nearly a decade of experience, Jennifer has deeply engaged with the issues and struggles facing the residents of Williamsburg, Bushwick, and Ridgewood. Born and raised in Queens to Colombian immigrant parents, Jennifer understands firsthand the challenges faced by immigrant communities. She grew up in a one-bedroom apartment, attended local public schools, and graduated from SUNY Albany with a B.A. in Political Science.
