"My car exploded out of no where with no known cause. I reported this and lawley would only cover the rental for a month while they took their time on their end (it's been 2 months and I still don't have the money). I had to completely drain my savings to get a new car so I could go to work etc. A month and a week into this process I was told I'd have payment within a few days but a week at the most due to choosing direct deposit. I waited 5 days then called trying to figure anything out about why nothing was pending or anything in my account. They proceeded to tell me that it was the banks issue and they would have to reissue a paper check. The payment was cancelled and no one was even going to tell me? I had to call and be transferred multiple times and the only thing they told me was that the check was canceled (which I now know was because lawley messed up the payment so it couldnt go through and then got cancelled). When I received the paper check the WRONG NAMES WERE ON IT (the policy holders name was not even on it) along with the wording being wrong so even if the names were correct the check would still be useless. I had to go completely out of my way to get the signatures as my sister, whos name was on the check, is currently in a different state. When I called to get another payment issued I was told that the claims-person was on lunch and that I would be called back very soon with more details on what could be done. I didn't get contacted so half an hour before closing I called again and the claims-person had no idea that there was an issue with the check and the person I talked to earlier left the office hours ago. They then refused to reissue payment to me saying they will only issue it to the policy holder (which they kept messing up on before putting the wrong name). I mentioned that I didnt like this payment option and asked for a correct check direct deposited into my account like originally planned and like every insurance company does and my claims person proceeded to get nasty and unprofessional with me saying things such as if I dont like how its handled I should get off my moms insurance policy. Then payment was finally issued through insurance but due to them refusing to put it in the correct account I had to get a personal check written from my mom (the policy holder) which when deposited into the correct account takes 7 business days to process which adds almost 2 weeks to me having access to the payment. This is exactly what I didn't want after this whole process is to have to wait even longer for the money because they refuse to issue a correct check. Completely and utterly unsatisfied with the services provided and would never recommend this insurance company to anyone as if I wasn't fortunate enough to have my savings I would have lost my apartment and job among others due to all this. This happened October 1st. Payment was approved on October 27th. I finally got payment December 8th."
