The LILCO Building, situated at 40-52 Woodbine Avenue in Northport, New York, is a historic institution constructed in 1924 by the Long Island Lighting Company. Originally used as offices and garages for a nearby power plant, the building now houses retail stores and offices with stunning views of Northport Harbor. The Northport Native Garden Initiative has created a beautiful native garden surrounding the building, thanks to the efforts of the village and dedicated volunteers.
