Dr. Halfon's commitment to advancing women's health is evident through her global health fellowship at Duke University Medical Center, where she lived in Rwanda to research maternal mortality related to cesarean section infections. Her significant contributions to the field have been recognized at national scientific conferences, including presentations at the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the Society for Maternal-Fetal Medicine.

Dr. Jeffrey Porte earned his medical degree from the University of Washington in 1978 and subsequently completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at SUNY Stony Brook. During his residency, Dr. Porte's exemplary skills and dedication were recognized with the Resident of the Year Award in both 1984 and 1986. Since then, he has been an integral part of the Stony Brook healthcare system, including a two-year tenure as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
