With a rich history dating back to 1869, we proudly serve the Jewish community in Utica and the Mohawk Valley region of Upstate New York. Our synagogue is the result of the merging of several historic congregations, including the House of Jacob and Tifereth Zvi, making us the only remaining Orthodox Jewish synagogue in Utica. Our congregation is a vibrant and diverse mix of Ashkenazi, Bukharian, Russian, and Spanish-Portuguese Jewish families.
