Our establishment was born from a community initiative when local citizens recognized the need for enhanced fire protection amidst the development of essential infrastructure like water, gas, and sewer lines. On December 14, 1954, their vision became a reality with unanimous approval from the Cicero Town Board, leading to the formation of our department.
