"I frequently visit NYSP for the adult programming, particularly MTG (but they’ve even introduced me to D&D which was a blast and I intend on joining more campaigns in the future.) Playing there is a great experience because everyone is welcoming, if you’re missing something like dice or a playmat the store or another player will loan it to you, and overall it’s just easy to connect and make friends. I’ve also had the pleasure of being around during one of their kids MTG and Pokémon classes and the way the instructor engages the kids and teaches them the mechanics is such a delight. I wish I had sent my child there when she was younger. I recommend this to anyone who wants to find a nice, friendly space to play, and if you have kids that are interested in tabletop games, it’s a great place for them too."
