As one of the first sports medicine specialists on Long Island, Dr. Cherney has been the Head Team Physician for Stony Brook University since 1983, providing exceptional medical care to the university's athletes for over four decades. Dr. Cherney is a proud alumnus of Bucknell University and Albany Medical College, and he holds esteemed memberships with the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery and the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons.
