Purchased by the Town of Webster in 2004 under the open space referendum, the preserve features sections of Four Mile Creek and its major tributary Salt Creek. Visitors can enjoy 2.15 miles of packed-dirt trails with three bridges and multiple boardwalks, showcasing a variety of ecosystems including old growth forest, succession forest, and wetlands. The park offers multi-use trails for activities such as walking, biking, snowshoeing, and cross-country skiing, with dogs allowed on leash.
