"I have known SHIHAN Shahin Mehrkar for nearly 30 years. What kept me going and training was Shihan's unwavering, but realistic, dedication to exceptionalism. "This school of karate is not for everyone. I enrolled my son who was four years old at the time, and I explained the reasons why I wanted to enroll my son. I wanted my son to refine his abilities to concentrate, follow instructions and self-discipline. The master instructor did not have any patience to work with him that needed some additional attention. The master instructor was looking at my son badly, which made my son feel really uncomfortable. For his third class, the master instructor told his assistant: "I'm not going to waste time with children who do not pay attention." When I heard that, it made me feel like I was wasting my money when the person who should help my son develop his skills does not want to work with my son. I do not recommend this Karate school for children who need a little extra help."
