"Conveniently located in Monticello across from the DMV. It’s best to buy tickets online, especially if you’re taking an early bus. The ticket office doesn’t open until 9 AM. We arrived at the station at 7:50 for an 8 AM bus to Port Authority, NY. The line was long but the bus driver quickly scanned tickets. It was an orderly process. Bring a sweater. The AC keeps it cool."

"Hey this is really the only spot in town to pick up friends from the city. So while it’s not really fancy it gets the job done. If you have friends coming from the port authority there is a good chance they are going to wind up here."

"It's a highway bus. Clean but noisy and rough riding. Late arrival at pick up point and later at destination. But it got us from upstate NY to NYC & back at reasonable price."

"There is a large office which offers bathrooms, vending machines and plenty of seats to wait for buses. Unfortunately it’s only open 9:30am-5:30pm which doesn’t help when you’re waiting in the cold for an 8am bus. Round trip buses to NYC are limited and even more to Middletown. I had to take a bus from Monticello to Port Authority so I could take a bus to Middletown! They should at least offer transfers for situations like these."
