Councilmember Sandra Ung
Welcome to the official website of Councilmember Sandra Ung, proudly serving the vibrant communities of Flushing, Mitchell-Linden, Murray Hill, Queensboro Hill, and Fresh Meadows in the 20th Council District of Queens, New York. Our district office is conveniently located at 136-21 Latimer Place, 1D, Flushing, NY 11354. Sandra Ung's journey to public service is both inspiring and deeply rooted in her personal experiences. Having escaped the Cambodian genocide as a child, Sandra and her family found a new home in New York City when she was just seven years old. Growing up in Queens, she attended local public schools, including P.S. 22, J.H.S. 189, Flushing High School, and Hunter College, before earning her J.D. from Columbia Law School in 2001. Sandra remains deeply connected to her roots, living next door to her parents and serving as their primary caretaker.
