Welcome to Wading River Marsh Preserve Nestled on Sound Road in the picturesque Wading River, New York, the Wading River Marsh Preserve is a hidden gem on Long Island's north shore. Enclosed by majestic wooded hills that rise nearly 200 feet, this 104-acre salt-marsh preserve is a vibrant emerald oasis amidst the high bluffs stretching from Port Jefferson to Orient Point. As one of the few salt marshes along this 53-mile expanse, it offers a unique opportunity to explore a thriving ecosystem where plants and animals adapt to the challenges of tide, salt, and sun.

Welcome to CFJ Park Carousel, a cherished gem located at 98 CFJ Boulevard, Johnson City, New York. This historic park, established in 1923, was named in honor of Charles F. Johnson and was designed for the enjoyment of the Endicott-Johnson employees and the local community. At the heart of the park is the magnificent carousel, a generous gift from George F. Johnson to the children of Johnson City. As one of only 19 remaining Allan Herschell Carousels in the world, our carousel is a testament to timeless craftsmanship, featuring 72 beautifully hand-carved wooden horses known as "jumpers." The park is a vibrant community hub, offering a range of recreational facilities including a spray park, little league and softball fields, basketball, volleyball, and tennis courts, playground equipment, and three picnic pavilions. Restroom facilities are also available for your convenience. The carousel and spray park operate daily from 12 PM to 6 PM, weather permitting, from the 4th of July through Labor Day weekend.
