The owners were enjoying a kid-free weekend of camping when they started discussing the idea of owning their own campground. They stumbled upon a neglected, closed-down golf course and decided to turn it into their dream campground. After purchasing the property, the owners worked tirelessly to transform the 98.5 acres into a beautiful campground. Big Guys Camping now features 126 full hookup sites, 60 seasonal sites, 20 tent sites, and a wide range of amenities including a General Store, Pool, Jump Pillow, Movie Theater, Arcade, Fitness Center, Laundry room, and more. The campground also offers activities such as wagon rides, fishing ponds, an 18-hole Disc Golf Course, and a Dog Park.
Shawangunk Grasslands National Wildlife Refuge
