"Former cosmetology student here! I know the regulations NYS Salons need to follow and this salon isn’t. In NYS NOBODY is licensed to cut any skin or cuticles AT ALL somehow they cut my toe so bad I had an infection for 2 months !! Trash cans aren’t covered, they dont use new implements or anything when they’re supposed to replace for sanitary purposes. Far as salons in Kingston go, this is probably second best to J’s, but still better than Sunny or New Style."

"I am slowly making my way around all of the eyebrow waxing and nail places in Kingston and was told to come here. MISTAKE. First I asked her to wash her hands since I knew she would be touching my face without gloves. She said she wasn’t going to touch my face…which is impossible when you get your eyebrows waxed. They were rude, patronizing, literally laughing at me when I asked for simple things like getting more hairs waxed off that they completely missed. They wanted to tweeze my eyebrows completely and barely use wax. I can tweeze my eyebrows at home, why would I come here for that? Asked for another woman because the first was insanely rude. Second one must have been told to also give me a hard time for no reason and told me they couldn’t wax off the hairs they missed? Doesn’t make sense. I’ve gotten my eyebrows waxed so many places and they just were being lazy. Oh they also told me that peach fuzz on the face is not a real thing and she literally said “that doesn’t make sense.” And laughed at me AGAIN. Everyone on the face of the EARTH has a different hair color, hair texture, everything. To tell someone they don’t know their own hair is insanity. Please don’t go here unless you want to be literally made fun of from 5 different people telling you you aren’t making sense? This was crazy lmao I’ve been to so many places but this really takes the cake for craziest service I’ve ever had. And the place looked dirty af. On to the next one I guess! These photos are after 2 waxings AND tweezing and they still missed a lot. 3rd photo is how many hairs I pulled out when I got home and did my eyebrows correctly."

"I think the photos speak for themselves, and they were taken one hour after leaving the salon. 95$ later and my hands and feet looked better before I went here. Fingers and toes were so unbelievably crusty and gross. I called to see if they I could have them fixed but they were rude on the phone so I just chalked it up as a loss."

"Took two of my young daughters as a special Christmas gift. Paid the extra $ for the “gel” polish which is supposed to stay on longer. One day later gave them a bath, the polish was gone! I called to ask for a gift card to have her come back at a later time, they refused and said they couldn’t even give me an appointment! Asked me to return with her and we would have to wait for an opening to have it fixed. She’s 5, and was extremely disappointed. My total bill including tips for two mani and pedis for two girls ages 4 and 5 was $180"

"The outside of this place is deceiving. The inside is beautiful and clean. I needed to remove gel polish of my nails and get a plain manicure with a clear coat. My nails were weak after having gel polish done twice. I was told the manicure would be $15. I felt the manicurist was rushing and not doing a good job. After everything was done and a poorly applied clear coat, the man told me $20. I still tipped him $5. Figured lesson learned. My main objective was to get the gel off and it was done. I don’t plan to go back there again because the service was poor quality and the fee changed after the work was done."
