A true testament to the power of nature, Sunday Rock has been a prominent feature of the landscape for centuries. In a fascinating tale of preservation and progress, Sunday Rock was first relocated in 1925 to accommodate the construction of a new highway. It was moved once more in 1965 when the highway was widened, ensuring its continued presence for future generations to admire. Today, it resides in a charming public roadside park, accompanied by two concrete monuments that honor its history and the organizations that played a pivotal role in its preservation.
