The UPS Store

"This is UPS store has an employee who has piercings on her lips. nose, eyebrows and ears that I could see. How she wants to present herself is her business, I'm only saying this because I never got her name but this is how I recognize her. I was mailing a porcelain sign at Christmas time. It was sandwiched in between two sheets of ridgid foam board with duct tape sealing the edges. I have been shipping signs like this for years through UPS and USPS. No problem. I get in front of this girl and she says that UPS won't accept it. She says it has to be packaged. I say it is packaged. She says it has to be in a BOX. I'm not going to argue with her, so I leave go up the road to STAPLES, who is a dropoff for UPS packages, and they accept it, no problem. A couple of weeks ago, I go in the UPS store again with a package that was a little short for what I was mailing, so I had a second box over the end of the first box, stapled and taped to the first. I wait in line for about 10 minutes and who do I get to wait on me but the girl with the piercings again. "Oh you can't have two boxes together, UPS doesn't allow that". "But they are stapled..." "Don't interrupt me, I'm explaining..." I didn't let her finish. I left, once again went to STAPLES, and shipped it from there. Nothing was said about how it was packaged. The girl (who happen to be the manager of that department) was very pleasant and gave me a receipt that also had a discount coupon if I wanted to buy something in the store. So I said to myself in the parking lot, why bother to go to a place that has terrible parking, slow lines for service, no space inside for services or packages, and incompetent help. I'll be doing my UPS business with STAPLES in the future."

"UPS left a missed delivery ticket yesterday. I went over to your store. I gave the ticket to the girl at register and said, I got this yesterday. Her immediate response was, oh its not here yet, maybe tomorrow. I said politely, my email said it was here. She rolled her eyes at me and with a bit of an attitude, then checked. It was there. Please in the future just check, don't immediately dismiss a request to check if a package is there."

"I am old and somewhat handicapped… at this store 1/3/24 approx 1:50 pm and employee named Makenna was very very helpful to me by helping me figure out QR code and getting label for one parcel.. the second parcel i asked if they had a small cart to bring in pkg, she offered and helped me get the pkg out of my vehicle, and again helped me with the QR code/label…. Very polite and very helpful, i hope she gets recognized for her excellent customer service!!!"

"This UPS Store is great they all know me by name and are always so helpful. I have packages come in for my business and I have them come there so they don't get wet or damaged in the weather. The employees there are awesome!"

"Lindsay and Kathleen (trainee) were very accommodating to me as I had a pkg. that had to be returned by that night and wasn’t sure I’d get there before the store closed at 6:30. I called and said I’m on my way could you please wait and let me in. They said the doors would be locked, but they’d be cleaning up before they left so come and tap on the window and she’d let me in to get that pkg. in the mail. They were so nice I couldn’t thank them enough! ❤️"
