Cranberry Lake Campground
Cranberry Lake Campground, located at 230 Lone Pine Road in Cranberry Lake, New York, is a perfect vacation spot for outdoor enthusiasts. Situated near one of the largest remote lakes in the Adirondacks and surrounded by 50,000 acres of wilderness, the campground offers 171 campsites with amenities such as hot showers, flush toilets, and a boat launch near Cranberry Lake hamlet. Visitors can enjoy fishing for trout in the lake, as well as rowboats, kayaks, and canoes. The campground also offers hiking trails, including the Bear Mountain Trail and access to the Cranberry Lake Wild Forest. Swimming is available at the designated beach area, but is unsupervised. The campground is easily accessible from major highways and offers a variety of recreational activities for all ages. Donations to the National Heritage Trust can support projects and programs that enhance facilities and protect natural resources. The Cranberry Lake Campground Unit Management Plan guides land management activities at the facility for a five-year period. Visitors are encouraged to follow all campground rules and regulations for a safe and enjoyable experience.
