He founded a prenatal care center in Westchester, NY, where he gained a reputation for his patient-centered approach. His expertise extends to advanced laparoscopic procedures and a wide range of gynecological surgeries. Throughout his career, Dr. Bakas has been actively involved in utilization review and safety committees, and was a core member of the Obstetrical Safety Initiative at his hospital.
