Our museum is dedicated to commemorating the events of early summer 1989, a time when innocent dreams were tragically overshadowed by violence. We strive to honor the memory of those who suffered and to inspire future generations to build a free and democratic China. The museum officially opened its doors to the public on June 25, 2023. Welcome to the Homeville Museum, a captivating destination for history enthusiasts and families alike, nestled in the heart of Cortland, New York. Located at 4386 U.S. Route 11, our museum is a proud part of the Central New York Living History Center, offering a vibrant exploration of historical experiences and their relevance to both past and contemporary life. The Homeville Museum is renowned for its diverse collections, with a core focus on military history, local business, industry, and railroad heritage. At the heart of our exhibits is the remarkable collection of the late Ken Eaton, a WWII veteran who dedicated over 35 years to curating military, railroad, and local history artifacts. His collection, combined with other culturally significant items, creates an immersive experience that connects visitors to the rich tapestry of history.

Welcome to CFJ Park Carousel, a cherished gem located at 98 CFJ Boulevard, Johnson City, New York. This historic park, established in 1923, was named in honor of Charles F. Johnson and was designed for the enjoyment of the Endicott-Johnson employees and the local community. At the heart of the park is the magnificent carousel, a generous gift from George F. Johnson to the children of Johnson City. As one of only 19 remaining Allan Herschell Carousels in the world, our carousel is a testament to timeless craftsmanship, featuring 72 beautifully hand-carved wooden horses known as "jumpers." The park is a vibrant community hub, offering a range of recreational facilities including a spray park, little league and softball fields, basketball, volleyball, and tennis courts, playground equipment, and three picnic pavilions. Restroom facilities are also available for your convenience. The carousel and spray park operate daily from 12 PM to 6 PM, weather permitting, from the 4th of July through Labor Day weekend.
